My Testimony & The Heart Behind The Rooted Tumbleweed Farm

For much of my life, I felt like a tumbleweed—lost, drifting, and searching for where I belonged. I moved through seasons of uncertainty and pain, longing for purpose and a place to truly call home. I knew something was missing, but I didn’t yet know what would steady me.

When I found Christ, everything changed. He met me in my brokenness and became my strength when I had none of my own. Through Him, I stopped wandering and began to take root. God gently led me back to the foundation of my youth—the farm life that once shaped me, the horses I loved, and the lessons of patience, responsibility, and unconditional care learned in the barn.

The Rooted Tumbleweed Farm is the living testimony of that restoration. It represents what God can do when He takes what is lost and plants it firmly in His truth. This farm exists so that rescue animals and youth who have experienced trauma, abuse, or abandonment can find healing side by side. Here, hearts are restored, confidence is rebuilt, and lives are transformed through faith, love, and steady purpose.

Just as Christ rooted me when I was drifting, this farm is a place where hope grows, healing begins, and lives are restored—deeply rooted in Him.
